Our 190D imported polyester fabric is a high-strength, Oxford-weave textile engineered for demanding outdoor and travel applications. Made of 100% high-tenacity polyester, the 190D (denier) yarns give this fabric a sturdy yet lightweight character – higher denier means thicker, stronger threads. Its Oxford weave provides exceptional tear and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for backpacks, luggage, gear covers and more. Optional coatings (PU or PVC) can be applied: a polyurethane (PU) coating adds a flexible water-resistant finish, while a PVC coating yields a more rigid, waterproof surface. In either case, the result is a fabric that repels moisture and resists punctures and rips – for example, 190D polyester with PVC backing is noted to be “resistant to abrasion, tearing and moisture”. Solution-dyed finishes ensure high colorfastness and UV stability, so your projects stay vibrant under sun and weather.
